03 Nov Welcome to the new Davis Dental Website
Welcome to the new and improved Davis Dental blog page. Periodically I will be adding content about the practice, what we have been up to and topics of interest. These will mostly come from what I think you want to hear about and I need your feedback. If you have a topic you want to know more about or if you want to tell me what you think about what I have written please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Back to the web site upgrade. The world moves on and a site that was first written about six years ago was looking a little tired and old fashioned. The guys at Pixelrock came to the rescue and have done a great job creating a modern, clean, professional looking site that has a fresh look.
Please browse around the site and check out some of the pictures of the staff and the the new practices in both Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. We have been busy with moving and building trying to create a fresh and pleasant environment for you to visit (and us to live in!). I hope you like what we have done.
Anyone who has been to see us know that I am a gadget and technology nut. My passion is to find and sometimes create tools and processes that facilitate what I do for you, my patients. When not at work I travel the world to visit like minded people to source exotic equipment and products or just to learn from the giants of my profession. Of course visiting friends on every continent in the world (other than Antarctica) is a lot of fun too.
I have a new addition to my resume as of October 2012. I was interviewed for Dentalfiles (a CD given to all members of the ADA every two months) last year after a presentation I gave at the national ADA convention and it went so well they have invited me to be one to their regular interviewers of local and international lecturers. What an opportunity to spend at least an hour with the biggest name in my industry when they come to Australia and ask them all the questions I want. My first gig was at the Quintessence International meeting in Sydney and next month I will share what I learned in the three interviews that I had an opportunity to conduct.
